Dedicated to the memory of Alistair Rettie
Alistair Rettie passed away surrounded by his family on 29th November 2020, aged 90. He was a retired farmer and a real character with a great sense of fun! He was very close to his family and he was a very sociable man with a wide circle of friends.
Hospice@Home through St Leonard's Hospice allowed Alistair to remain at home for his final days. Hospice@Home cared for him in a kind and professional manner. Their warm and friendly approach was never rushed and they supported Alistair and his family during his final days.

Remembering my lovely dad xxx Donating instead of sending Christmas cards
It's hard to believe it's been a year since my dad passed. Thinking of him and remembering the care and support both my dad and the family received from Hospice at Home so I'm donating to St Leonard's instead of buying Christmas cards this year.
Donated in support of Alistair's granddaughter Hannah who completed the Great North Run today and remembering the great support we all got when we needed it from Hospice at Home.
